What Apna Karigar is
Apna Karigar (apnakarigar.org) is a home-services platform that connects households with skilled local workers — karigars — in their own city. Instead of asking around, saving random phone numbers and hoping someone shows up, you pick a service, compare local professionals by rating, experience and distance, and book the visit in a few taps. Skilled workers use the same platform to find nearby jobs and build a trusted profile.
Launching from Faisalabad
We are starting in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan — a city of hardworking families and some of the finest craftsmen in the country. Faisalabad is our first city, not our only one: the plan is to grow city by city across Pakistan, and then to more countries, taking the same simple idea with us — every job’s expert, in one app.

How it works
For customers: choose a service, pick a professional near you, select a time, and confirm your booking. You see the starting price before you book, and you can follow your bookings in the app.
For karigars: register with your skill, city and experience. When a customer nearby needs your trade, the request reaches you — accept the jobs that suit you and grow your ratings with good work.
How ranking works
Every karigar profile shows a star rating with customer reviews, a followers count and the number of completed jobs. Badges — New, Verified, Rising, Popular and Faisalabad's Favourite — are earned from those numbers as a karigar does more good work. Rankings are earned, never sold: no one can pay to appear higher on Apna Karigar.
Why we built it
Every home needs a plumber, an electrician or an AC technician sooner or later — and every street has skilled people looking for work. The problem was never skill; it was finding the right person at the right time. Apna Karigar exists to close that gap, starting at home in Faisalabad.
